Hospital visit this am, after 7 weeks in plaster non weight baring i was hoping to be able to start weight baring from today, ..... but no another plaster fibre glass, but still non weight baring for 4 weeks
The surgeon checked x-rays and said that i would need ankle replacement in the future, not great news, I was hoping that this op (Fusion) would be the end.
oh well on the plus side i will be visiting my parents who are living in Eire in June, not flying due to plaster, going by ferry, we will be taking the dog, we will have a cabin, have a little nap on the way i love that, a little bit of luxury on a short sail, the journey to Wales, makes me so tired, hubby is good and stops often.
thanks for listening to my moan. Anne-m xx

I'm so sorry you're still in plaster! I'm sure you're bitterly disappointed but hopefully it will be worth the extra wait.
Your trip in June sounds great! I've never been on a ferry before so I'm green with envy. If you can have a cabin, it'll be wonderful.

The plaster must be driving you mad by now! You will no doubt be travelling the A55 expressway to Holyhead. There is a great Little Chef just past Bodelwyddan, before you reach Conwy, they do lovely breakfasts and hot chocolate drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. Well worth a stop! Called in many times on route to Bangor Uni to collect/visit daughter! Enjoy Eire Lyn x
